All mugs sold under this listing are 100% food safe (unless stated otherwise), however, they may require more care when it comes to cleaning, therefore a hand-wash is recommended.
Seconds are completely functional ceramic pieces with minor aesthetic defects such as small hairline cracks or marks in the glaze. They don't affect the functionality of the piece and are reminders of the handmade process and uniqueness of each mug.
Tilly: wonky black pupils on eyes
Tutti Frutti: glaze on the mouth is bumpy and a bit of crazing on the outside
Confetti 1: left eye sliding off but fully intact (I personally think he is so cute!)
Confetti 2: glaze on the outside is a little bit patchy
Luca: black smudges/ glaze defect on the right eye
Hyacinth: no flaws, just a sample mug
Cosmo: tiny hairline crack on the inside but covered in glaze
Eros: *NOT FOOD SAFE* crack on the inside, use as a decorative item or plant pot etc
Juliette: tiny hairline crack on the inside but covered in glaze
Mochi: the inside glaze has a blue coloured defect, small hairline crack but covered in glaze. Outside of mug is perfect.
Amadeus: small line of crazing on the bottom outside of the mug
Gertrude: small crack on the rim of the mug and thin glaze on the inside
LARGE Confetti Mug Sample: large mug sample, holds 450-500ml (normal mug holds 350ml), bleeding to the pupils on the eyes, patchy glaze on the mouth and too much transparent glaze on eyes and mouth
LARGE Tutti Frutti Mug Sample: large mug sample, holds 450-500ml (normal mug holds 350ml), glaze is too thick, crazing all over, thin glaze on mouth
LARGE Bloom Mug Sample: large mug sample, holds 450-500ml (normal mug holds 350ml), a little bleeding to the pupils on the eyes, patchy glaze on the mouth
LARGE Tilly Mug Sample: large mug sample, holds 450-500ml (normal mug holds 350ml), a little bleeding to the pupils on the eyes, patchy glaze on the mouth and too much transparent glaze on eyes and mouth
